I am a certified wedding officiate. I provide a spiritually inclusive and personal approach. It is a way of rejoicing in our differences and celebrating our commonality in an atmosphere of mutual love and respect.
My services are to provide blessings to the community gathered. Most specifically to bless the rings as a symbol of the union and to solemnize the wedding vows. We will file all necessary legal paperwork with the state authorities. We will provide support before during and after the wedding day to assure a harmonious expression of love.
I am Ordained through the Order of Melchizedek, through the non-denominational Church of the Beloved. My training is also as an American Daoist Daoshi, (ordained priestess). I also grew up reading 3 verses of the Bible daily, as well as studying all major Religions. We, in Daoism, do not renounce any other religious trainings we may have. It is very inclusive. Daoists have an abiding affinity with nature. We follow precepts concerned with preservation of the natural environment and sacred teachings based on lineage teachers and teachings. Daoism is a universal path. We do not proselytize or covert people but demonstrate simplicity, sustainability, and contentment. Our principles of mercy, kindness and forgiveness are for all.
When different ways are brought together in a wedding ceremony the uniting theme and principal is Love. Deep acceptance is the way. What ever arrises in us we need to love and accept the new families expression of this sacred principle called love. We must forgive and let go of our expectations that can block our feelings of love and happiness. This leeds to greater feelings of joy for the new couple. Our role as family & friends is to simply witness.
Thank you for allowing me to help celebrate your families union with love and grace!
